A GOOD 19TH CENTURY SHIPS MARINE CHRONOMETER by John Brunton of London No 513, three tier brass bound case with side carrying handles, front plaque signed and numbered, 4-inch silvered dial with Roman numerals, seconds dial and 54-hour power reserve dial, single chain fusee movement with a chronometer detent escapement, free sprung helical hairspring, split bimetallic balance with timing weights and screws, diamond endstone, movement numbered 2060, movement contained in a gimbal, gimbal numbered 2060. 18 cm x 18 cm.
