Superb, Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong blue and white lotus leaf porcelain amphora vase. The porcelain potted in tube form, with wide ovoid belly, thick, shoulder tapering to tall cylindrical neck, with straight rings close rim, emerging two archaic ribbon flanked on the shoulder, raised on round concave foot base. All reserved in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt fine blue color. The main body, the neck, and the shoulder adorned with various Lotus flowers blooms among fresh leaf and grass. Repeating interlocking key fret, thrashing Lishui wavy water decorated on the upper belly, shoulder, upper mouth rim and the foot rim. Each section part banded and enclosed with double fine blue rings. Lotus is one of the most significant flowers in the Chinese culture. It symbolizes the holy seat of Buddha. Because the flower rises from the mud and blooms in exquisite beauty it symbolizes perfection and purity of both the heart and mind. It also represents long life and honor. The lotus flower is depicted in Chinese art, poetry and architecture. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares, with finest material, the whiteness, and the glaze.
