Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, Jiajing Blue & white fish pattern Flori Form porcelain plate. ?The plate has a broad wide central interior, rounded rim with flori form lip, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. The dish wall is finely carved in blue and white fine color, is an excellent object with many carp swim over flowers bloom, water grass plants, and thrashing lishui waves. The Carp Similar sounding to the word Business in Chinese, the carp symbolizes a wish for benefit or advantage in business, and accepted to represent longevity, wealth, abundance, and perseverance. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Jiajing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
