The porcelain potted in celestial shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, straight cylindrical neck, round mouth rim, raised on a short ring foot base with slight concave. Warm and uniform apple green glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Green is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. Green stands for health, prosperity, and harmony. In Chinese culture, green stands for cleanliness and purity from contamination. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within fine blue rings lines. Made in The Years XuanDe Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
