A superb Chinese carved Jade vase adorned with scrolling floral handles simulating two ascending Pixiu on the neck. Geometric cavity drifts upward into a vast neck eventually meeting the domed oval lid and elliptic flaring finial. The main body decorated in elaborate reliefs of symmetrical rococo floral foliate simulating the Taotie mask of the seeing eyes. This gorgeous vase rest on hand carved hardwood stand, set within a snug fitting pale-yellow metallic silk wrapped hard cushion above red ribbon pedestal, protected inside a slide lidded hardwood box. The jade shows celadon color, moist slicky smooth surface, beautiful clean even tone translucent.
