DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Walker & Co. An incredibly nice and most likely New Old Stock example of this Circa 1950's Porcelain Sign from Studebaker Automobiles advertising "Authorized Service". Sign features unique maroon, white and yellow Porcelain with bold script throughout the inner and outer fields and is one of the finest examples we have ever sold. CONDITION: Side one is in absolutely stunning condition showing immaculate color and gloss throughout the chip free field with bright colors and clean script throughout. Side one shows only a few superficial and light surface scratches as well as one light nick along the bottom outer edge but overall outstanding, Grade 9.5+. Side two is also in outstanding condition throughout showing incredible color and gloss as well as clean Studebaker script. Side two shows some very faint discoloration in the yellow porcelain as well as one light scratch in the upper field. Side two shows some very minimal chips along the outer edge but overall incredibly clean, Grade 9.0+. Sign shows all four of its original brass grommets and overall would be extremely difficult to improve upon. Condition: (9.5+ & 9.0+). Dimensions: 42" Dia.
