Condition

In overall fine and stable condition. Light grime to surface, with craquelure throughout. Patching present to lower right corner of water, with noticeably irregular crackle pattern. Few losses to paint at lower left edge, with scattered, horizontal areas of delamination of paint layers throughout sky and sails. Inpainting visible under blacklight examination to sky, sails, and few small areas of ship. Canvas has been relined.
