Stretcher size 20 x 26 in.; Frame dimensions 24 3/8 x 30 1/2 in.
This painting is likely a view of a prosperous estate in Yantic, Connecticut. Near Norwich, the village of Yantic developed around an ironworks in the 18th century and wool and cotton mills in the 19th century.
