Condition is consistent with age. There is craquelure to paint throughout both paintings. Starting with the right painting in the primary photo: paint is coming up in middle of painting where the pink cloud is located. Under black light, there is in-painting visible, particularly on top middle and on the right column and forest area of the middle. On the left side painting (in primary photo): there is craquelure to paint throughout. To the right of the top entablature, the paint is flaking upwards. The top of the canvas, below the top branch, and just above the aqueduct ruin, there are three tiny flecks of paint loss. Under black light, there are very small areas of in-painting throughout. The bottom right shows a diagonal mark, probably from the back of canvas getting hit and causing unevenness to paint on top.
