French Gilt Brass Mantel Clock, 19th c., with an urn and dolphin fish surmount, over a painted enamel dial time and strike drum clock, flanked by pierced brass scroll and gryphon sides, above a pierced pendulum window, on a stepped pierced base on gryphon feet, H.- 18 3/4 in., W.- 11 1/2 in., D.- 5 1/4 in. Provenance: from the Estate of Dr. Peter Elwood Dorsett, New Orleans, Louisiana.
