the caddy top with four flaming finials and a centre urn-form finial, the simulated ivory face with Shibayama-type applied decoration depicting kingfisher and insects amidst gilded and silvered foliage, Japy two-train movement striking a coil gong, raised on a giltwood plinth with presentation plaque dated 1895, further raised on an ebonised plinth.
