A PAIR OF VICTORIAN SILVER CANDLESTICKS
by Robert Garrard, London, 1854
In the Régence style, each cast and chased with Classical motifs, the sides of the bases and nozzles with a mask within foliage scrolls and the stems with portrait busts above the strapwork, each marked on the foot and bobeches, the bases also marked R & S GARRARD PANTON ST LONDON; heights to 12 1/2in (31.5cm).
