The rare first folio edition of Ogilby's famed translation into verse of æsop, complete with the many fine textual copperplates by Wenceslaus Hollar and others for which it is justly renowned, as well as for the text. ;A rare and desirable work, seldom found complete, or in good state. Wing A69.
Condition
Rubbing to covers, joints cracked; some minor toning and a few slight stains, repaired tear to H1; very good.
