Description
Yongzheng, Qing Dynasty, China. A very exquisite Doucai porcelain moon vase. A tapered spheroid, narrow and straight from neck to edge, raised on a flared oval base. Two shaped ribbon handles go from the shoulders to the sides of the neck. The main body is decorated with hand-painted fighting colors, with cobalt blue strokes filled with light colors, depicting deer and cranes in the waterside landscape. Stylized rococo utpalas and tendrils on the sides, with a repeating ruyi pattern on the edges.Seal carving, with six characters in green seal, during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty.Atlanta IFGF Church Original Collection
