A watercolour on paper with four vignette figure studies and a portrait of the original owner against a faux lapis surround, flowering swags and coffering, inset into a maple-veneered cabinet for miniatures containing 23 18th and 19th century miniatures, the cabinet 55 x 51cm (21 5/8 x 20 1/16in).
