The canvas has been relined. The varnish is a little dirty, uneven and scuffed.
Areas of discoloured restoration are visible to the naked eye throughout the background and to the iris, lower right. Further discoloured retouching is visible to the urn. There is a zigzag repair, visible in raking light, lower right.
Inspection under UV light is hindered by reflective varnish but it is just possible to see the aforementioned discoloured restoration to the iris; and possible scattered restorations to the background. Further restoration cannot be excluded.
