Chinese Qing Dynasty DaoGuang Yellow Peking Glass Snuff Bottle. The Peking glass carved into a sturdily in bulbous lower body, thick potted, deep curvature, slight tall and gentle upward to narrow opening lip, with slight flaring mouth rim, raised on flat round foot base. Warm and uniform yellow glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Yellow is an imperial color in Chinese Dynasty color symbolism, representing power, royalty, prosperity and the earth in traditional Chinese culture.The Under-base bears a reign mark, carved four embossed script characters reign mark. Made in The Years DaoGuang Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
