Chinese Qing Dynasty QianLong Yellow Peking Glass Snuff Bottle. The glass carved in snuff bottle vase, sturdily in rectangle body, thick potted, deep curvature, slight tall and gentle upward to narrow opening lip, with slight flaring mouth rim, raised on rectangle ring foot base. All reserved in lemon yellow under glazed ground, the yellow glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed yellow script characters reign mark, enclosed within single fine yellow rectangle line. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
