Jules Moigniez (French 1835-1894) gilt bronze dog & doghouse sculpture form novelty inkwell, circa 1890. Bronze sculpture subdued golden hue color. Depicts one larger and one smaller dog looking out of a doghouse. Dog house roof lifts to reveal inkwell. Artist signed J Moigniez to the lower edge. Mounted on a circular marble plinth.
