Description
alkaline-glazed, designated "1" gallon capacity, ovoid form with two bands of incised rings including two above capacity mark and four below, lacking strap handle. Attributed to Chester Webster, probably while working at the B.Y. Craven Shop, near Coleridge, Randolph County, North Carolina. Third quarter 19th century. 11 5/8" HOA.
