This highly ornate and colorful, very graphic printed Broadside is titled, "Pictorial View of the World, 1846" and measures 20" x 30," with significant Hand tinting. The heavy wove paper has some soiling, scattered light foxing, chips at bottom and edge damage which would mostly be matted out if displayed. This unusual, extremely decorative Broadside/Poster which includes a large central double hemisphere Map of the World, two birds eye views and graphical depictions of the sun, the moon, and the 4 continents (America, Asia, Europe and Africa). It displays blocks full of statistics and an historical time line of the distinguished men, beginning in 4000 BC with Adam and Enoch, and ending with Andrew Jackson! Also included are lists titled; "Chronology of the World, Important Inventions, Discoveries, Battles, etc.", "Population of the Principal Cities in the World." and much more.
