Japanese woodblock print of the huge battle at Yamazaki, by Utagawa Toyonobu at Meiji 16 (1883), Utagawa Toyonobu (1859-1886) was one of the last heirs of Utagawa tradition, his prints centre around the theme of warriors, one of his most successful series is ‘New Selection of the Biography of The Taiko’. 18.2inch L, 13.6inch W.
