" Adirondack Rain" by Dorothy Hafner... Hand-Painted Abstract Ceramic Bowl w/ Ladle. This is bold colorful work from the early 80s (1983).The overall item is in excellent condition, although one the upper three corner elements is missing, but does not appear to really distract from the beauty of the work. Dorothy Hafner (born 1952 in Connecticut) is a celebrated American ceramist and glass artist whose designs were embraced by Rosenthal China. Her work has won numerous honors and awards. Two of her works are in the collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
