The pendulum is missing.
The machinery needs restoration.
Measures: 46 x 32 x 13 cm.
French table clock of Empire style and period. It is made entirely of gilded bronze, with a sculptural concept typical of this period. The base of the clock is decorated with allegorical astronomical figures in bas-relief in the form of a frieze. Above it is a round figure representing the muse of astronomy, together with measuring instruments and a globe. All of these elements rest on the clock case. The dial has Roman numerals in black and is decorated with vegetal motifs.
