Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong Famille rose open face landscape porcelain brush pot. Potted in brush holder shape, cylindrical straight body, thick potted, deep curvature, round opening lip, raised on flat round foot base. This porcelain is decorated with brightly colored Famille rose mountain landscape, pavilion beside peace Lishui river, trees and rocky hills. Mountain is one of the eight trigrams in Feng Shui and Yi Jing. Of these Taishan is considered the most important and stones from the mountain were often placed in towns across China as a lucky charm. The glaze on this pot is rather thick and moisturizing while the color is strong and brilliant.

The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed red script characters reign mark, Made In The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
