Chinese Ming Dynasty Ji Blue and White Dragon Porcelain Box. The porcelain box is in a circular form, , correspondence dome lid and there is a tongue at the outer rims for fitting the lid, raised with short foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against JiBlue fine color, depicted imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. The glaze has smooth texture and moisturizing, glossy quality. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
