Description
1920, GERMANY: This beautiful orchestrion was built by J.D Phillips & Son of Frankfurt Germany around 1920. A Pianella style PC-13, equipped with piano, mandolin, and xylophone. The window of the xylophone lights while playing. Housed in a wonderful mahogany cabinet with beveled mirrors, sconce lighting, decorative trim, with a glass window to view the xylophone. This instrument has a single roll player, and quite possibly was built during the time Phillips was building orchestrions for Wurlitzer. CONSIDERATIONS: The cabinet is in good repair, and showing just light wear and some rubs to the corners. The instrument is currently not playing and will require restoration to operate. Does not include music rolls. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Good). Dimensions: 58" x 30" x 72 - 1/2".
