Pair of American Chippendale-Style Mahogany Side Chairs
replicas of the John Cadwalader chairs attributed to the workshop of Benjamin Randolph (1721-1791) Philadelphia, each with a leaf- and scroll-carved back with a pierced splat in like carving, serpentine seat rail and cabriole legs terminating in hairy-paw feet, upholstered in claret and beige striped fabric.

Condition
Both chairs are tight and sturdy with absolutely no movement observed in the legs, rail joints or backs.
The finish is very good. There are a number of abrasions to the legs, feet and leg brackets. The seat
upholstery is in very good condition with good shape and no notable stains.
