R. E. Lee In Uniform Boldly Signed Carte de Visite, PSA Encapsulated
A vignette bust portrait of Lee, boldly signed below the image as "RE Lee" Richmond, undated.  With no backstamp on verso, but a note which reads "Purchased the fall after the surrender 1865" and a 2 cent Washington stamp with the notes "Nov. 27" written over it. The card has wear to edges, slight tears, paper loss and a crease on the upper left hand corner. Light toning throughout, but incredible eye appeal.
