8th-12th century A.D. A group of three copper-alloy trade weights comprising: a cuboidal weight bearing pricked dot designs to two faces, each a scalloped shield containing enigmatic, possibly textual, forms; an octagonal weight bearing a stylised flower head to one face, annulets around, repeated on two faces; a coin-shaped weight bearing a cross to one face flanked by the letters '?B', enigmatic design to reverse. 100 grams total, 10-36 mm (3/8 - 1 3/8 in.).
