Two 19th C. George Washington lithographs, including: "The Washington Family", lithograph, published January 186[1], based on the original portrait by Edward Savage (American, 1761-1817), several publishers printed images after the Savage composition, however, no publisher's imprint is visible on this work and the publisher of this impression is unknown, although most likely American, depicts Washington's family of four around table, African American servant right background, globe left foreground, some discoloration most evident in borders, scrape in draperies, bottom margin likely trimmed, unframed, sold as found, ss: 20 ½" h. x 26 ½" w.; and a 1846 N. Currier print of George Washington "Washington, First in War, First in Peace, And First in the Hearts of His Countrymen", hand colored accents, framed behind glass, not examined out of frame, uneven toning, 13 1/2" h. x 9 1/2" w., both pieces sold as is.
