Alfred Boucher, antique bronze figural group sculpture entitled Au But, or The Finishing Line. Depicts three athletes in dynamic pose, thrusting forward with their arms outstretched to reach the finishing line. Raised on a marble base. Signed, stamped and numbered. Circa the late 19th century. Alfred Boucher, 1850 to 1934, was a French sculptor who was a mentor to Camille Claudel and a friend of Auguste Rodin. Antique French Sculptures For Collectors.
