Description
An antique German Meissen polychrome glazed porcelain figure. The figure depicts a boy sitting on a wooden hobby horse, designed by Konrad Hentschel. Dated and numbered on a paper hat: 1919, No 36. Marked with a blue ink Meissen label stamp, imprinted model number W120, numbered 52, and impressed number 122, on the bottom. Julius Konrad Hentschel, German, 1872 to 1907, was one of the most important porcelain sculptors of the Art Nouveau.
