The second of two Lots by Rey in this sale. Provenance: Deaccessioned by the Four Seasons Hotel Miami this summer during remodeling. In 2003 Joan Warren Grady of Annex Fine Art Consulting of San Diego, California oversaw the furnishing of the Brickell landmark Four Seasons Hotel Miami between South Beach and Wynwood with original artworks by contemporary artists with curatorial consulting by Edsel Williams. A budget of 3.5 million USD was spent on works by 35 artists including the 6 works by the 3 Miami based artists Tao Rey, Bruce Tolman and Martin Oppel offered individually in this sale.
