Tao Rey Four Seasons Hotel Deaccession Street Art Graffiti Painting Miami Triptych 1 of 2, Argentine born artist, each panel 4 x 8.625 inches sight, overall artwork 12 x 8.625 inches sight, 27 x 23 x 1 inch framed, hand painted mixed media, no visible signature unless embedded in graffiti imagery, artist's name on Four Seasons Hotel Miami Annex Fine Art Consulting San Diego CA Brickell installation label verso. The first of two Lots by Rey in this sale. Provenance: Deaccessioned by the Four Seasons Hotel Miami this summer during remodeling. In 2003 Joan Warren Grady of Annex Fine Art Consulting of San Diego, California oversaw the furnishing of the Brickell landmark Four Seasons Hotel Miami between South Beach and Wynwood with original artworks by contemporary artists with curatorial consulting by Edsel Williams. A budget of 3.5 million USD was spent on works by 35 artists including the 6 works by the 3 Miami based artists Tao Rey, Bruce Tolman and Martin Oppel offered individually in this sale. Other artists included Latin Americans Fernando Botero and Jesus Rafael Soto. Ref ArtDaily site. Each of the 6 Lots has an Annex Consulting Four Seasons label verso.
