A reverse painting on glass depicting three masted schooner Marilla, with town in distance. Titled at bottom, “Ship Marilla of Hallowell, Wm. H. Robinson Commander, Passing Flushing, 1856” . Flying American, Masonic and German flags. Image 21.5” x 28”, in a mahogany veneered frame 28.5” x 35”.

Condition

Glass cracked in lower right corner, small areas of paint flaking throughout, veneer cracks in frame.
