Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) would have been working at the Enterprise during this period! Fitting as later that year Mark Twain in his own sarcastic style, called Billet a highway robber as boss of the Washoe Stock Exchange. Location Silver Star District, Storey County, N. T. The Silver Star District was 1 1/4 miles east of Virginia City and Gold Hill and lies parallel to the Comstock Lode. It was later renamed the Brunswick District after the Brunswick Lode and then renamed again as the Comstock District.
