I am clearly in of the opinion all circumstances considered that it will be for your interest to be with Mr. Foxcroft for the present...rather than be in the country...for in Boston you will have an opportunity not only of becoming acquainted with their manners, customs, but also with their method of doing business, which may be of more lasting service to you in future, than money will be at present...your welfare is near my heart...’ Signed ‘S. Ward’ at the conclusion. Some chipping to the edges, else fine.
