S.A. Dagger by Eickhorn, Solingen. A nice example from this premier maker, with an essentially untouched brown wood grip with expertly set S.A. button and eagle, untouched and undoubtedly original to the piece. Plated pommel nut, top guard and cross guard are in excellent condition with sharp, clean edges. The blade bears some surface corrosion, pitted only near the ricasso, and probably could be cleaned-up with some care. The 'Alles fur Deutschland' engraved motto is dark and distinct. The dagger is accompanied by its perfect-fitting painted scabbard. The fittings to the scabbard are fine, one side of the scabbard bears some chips to the paint. With a leather hanger.
