Description
Polish slave laborer's 'arbeiskarte', an identity card issued to workers in Germany, this example issued to Marian Pietrzykowski, a Pole now identified as 'Stateless' who has entered Germany from the 'General Government' via Pulawy, issued on Dec. 23, 1943. The verso of the card bears a photo of the bearer and his fingerprints. Worn and soiled, as one would expect, tape repair to a fold.
