Description

Second-Quarter 20th Century; Tsimshian
A group comprised of a twined lidded basket with eagles woven at the quarter points around the body between triple ticked bands above and below (6" H x 7.75" Dia.); a twined lidded basket with an eagle woven on the front and back standing on a single ticked band (4" H x 4.5" Dia.); and two lidded baskets, one with whales on opposing faces (3" H x 3" Dia.) and the other with a rose on opposing faces (4" H x 6" Dia.), 4 pieces

Condition

Each in overall good condition with dust accumulation and wear commensurate with age and use. Natural slumping to two baskets. Rose basket with two small dark spots to interior base. Whale basket with one stitch loss to tail of one whale.
