Description
An antique 18th-century bronze sculpture, a fine example of the arts of Anyi people, Ivory Coast. The sculpture represents a male head in a headdress, most likely a king or chief of Sanwi, the kingdom of Anyi that was established in 1740. The sculpture is mounted on a wooden cubic base. A label with information about the work is attached to the back of the base. West African Trible Art For Collectors.
Dimensions: Including Stand H 11 1/2 in. Base 4 x 3 7/8 in. All measurements are approximate.

Overall good antique condition. Signs of age and wear. Scratches, patina, scuffs. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
