A pair of mixed precious metal repousse stem cups with matching covers. The overall design is that of a mixed lotus and ruyi. Gold color bands are applied to the upper and bottom rims. Ruyi collars are worked beneath the upper bands and beneath the lower ones. The cover designs consist of a series of rising bands with a gold band at the rim, ruyi above, then stylized Lingzhi and stem lotus petals continuing to the base of the finial, which is a repousse stylized flower bud topped with a ying/yang symbol.
