Description
This is a fascinating a rarely found Al Krasberg helium reclamation diving helmet. During the 1970s Mr. Krasberg designed this system around a Kirby Morgan Superlite 17 helmet. The helmets were then built by Jim Bathgate. This helmet was part of a European collection, where likely it been acquired by Gas Services. The helmet has been kept in original unrestored condition. The typical signs of use are evident. The green painted shell does have a crack in the fiberglass towards the back which is shown in photos. Relatively few of these helmets were specially made. With the helmets unique configuration, interesting appearance and place in deep diving history, it is already considered a prime investment piece and jewel of any collection.

The certificate will have a unique number that will match the number on a tamperproof hologram decal placed inside the helmet.
