Graphite pencil on buff paper drawing, a sketch of three ballerinas by Charles-Paul Renouard. Collectors mark KW in the lower right. Charles-Paul Renouard, 1845-1924, was a French artist known for portraits of ballet dancers and famous personalities of his time. Kazimierz or Casimir de Woznicki, 1878-1949, was a Polish politician and philanthropist, one of the leading figures of the Polish emigration in Paris before the First World War.
