An early 20th century French gilt metal and Sevres style 'jewelled' porcelain mounted clock garniture
The movement signed Samuel Marti, numbered 4196-52
The elaborate case with cast leopard's heads, female masks, swagged fruit and foliate scrolls on a breakfront base raised on lobed feet, set with six porcelain panels depicting hunting scenes and gilt scrolls with enamelled 'jewelled' highlights, the 3.75 inch cream-coloured Arabic chapter ring with recessed centre, the twin train movement striking on a bell, with pendulum present and key, the matching garniture urns surmounted by female masks over twin handles (one detached but present) on elaborate porcelain-mounted bases. 43cms high overall (3)
