Description
A Pair of Louis XVI Style Gilt and Patinated Bronze Figural Four-Light Candelabra 19th century
(H: 29 1/2, Dia: 12 in.)
With gray marble bases. (2).
(H: 29 1/2, Dia: 12 in.)
Provenance
Private Collection, Gladwyne, Pennsylvania.
Condition commensurate with age and use. Patinated bronze with some rubbing and wear. Gilt bronze with rubbing, wear, areas of oxidation. Candle wax drippings and residue present, other accretions present to surface, would benefit from cleaning. Some fixtures of candelabra arms bent out of shape. One curling fixture loosely attached, more darkly oxidized than other fixtures, likely repaired.
