Description
Albert Hodge, now retired, created folk pots of in the middle of the Catawba Valley on NC 10 in Vale, NC, just down the street from Kim Ellington & Charlie Lisk. Initially for the first few years he was based in Newton, NC. This devil face jug, circa 2000's, is his style that one just knows w/ out needing a signature (although this is marked). The face has two rows of teeth, with pointy ears. A fantastic folk pottery devil jug. Signed on back. Stands 14" tall.
