Description
John Brock (b1940?-d2011) was more widely known for his functional stoneware pottery. This included elaborate decoration on his pots. Brock was a protégé of Charles Counts at Rising Fawn Pottery and later opened his own shop named Brock Studio. In 1979 he has been noted to travel across the globeto study traditional pottery techniques of various cultures. And these experiences in India, Thailand, China, Peru, and Argentina had various influences on his later works. The face jug stands 9.5" tall.
Condition
The face jug is in excellent/mint condition. Upon inspection there was noted obvious damage. Please review the photos for further follow-up. Or contact us to visit in person.
