Description
This even a more spectacular face jug by Vale, NC potter Kim Ellington from our June auction. This was turned at his home in Vale in the 90's, but then fired at 'Hart Square' historic village that was the brainchild of recently passed Dr. Bob Hart. This has all the aspects of Kim's faces from that period. He Signed on bottom & please note the additional heart w/ in a square stamp on the base, denoting where Kim fired it. Stands 15" tall. Alkaline glaze w/ glass runs, signed on back and bottom. Stands 16" tall.
